Footings and 16,000 sqft Concrete Flatwork -New Construction – Lisbon Firehall

Z Concrete (Z Con) of Woodbine, MD, recently completed flatwork and site concrete for the Lisbon Volunteer Fire Company in Lisbon, MD.  Z Con crews installed footings for the new building and placed over 17,000 SF of flatwork to accommodate fire and rescue equipment and new offices for the fire company.  The equipment bays were 9” thick concrete reinforced with #4 rebar and wire mesh, while the office areas were 5” reinforced concrete.

In addition to the structure, Z Con crews performed other site concrete such as sidewalks, dumpster enclosures, generator pads, bollards, and the new monument and flagpole base.  TBH Concrete provided concrete out of Westminster, MD.  Z Con is very proud to have been a part of this build and would like to thank our partners, Porter Construction, for making this project and our partnership a success!
